| Jun. 23rd, 2008 11:51 am Tagging works Frau Lowey has tagged me for a blog title meme, which I very nearly have pre-completed.
1. write the title to your own memoir using six words. 2. post it on your blog. 3. link to the person that tagged you. 4. tag five more blogs.
Separate the last portmanteau word into its separate components and 'tis done.
I do not think I have that many LJ friends on this account, so I will just give the shout out to all the Magic Sisters and Jagerkin, you know who you are. Current Mood: busy

| Jul. 20th, 2007 11:21 am Audio problems on Mac Has anyone else here had this problem? Since the last "update" I have had no SL audio at all. No system sounds, no ambient sound no IM pings, no music streams, no nothing.
My other programs are just fine, I can hear iTunes, videos, etc. just nothing through SL.
I'm running SL version 1.18.0.6 on OSX 10.4.10
It's not just me either; someone reported it just before I did, here: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-1792
Live music is one of my great joys in Second Life so I hope this gets worked out quickly. I tried the "First Look" voice version yesterday, no dice. Maybe people could hear me but I could not hear them.
Any insights or answers? Replacing the computer is not an option, no anti-Mac snark please. Current Mood: hopeful Current Music: none

| Aug. 14th, 2006 12:09 pm Let me throw out a topic: how NOT to fight Fire with Fire.
My group is constantly searching for a deterrant to griefers that still lies within Terms of Service. Cages and push weapons are out. Land owners and estate managers with ban powers can seldom be found at short notice. Any ideas from this particular group of computer-literate Second Lifers?
Sometimes it sucks to be the Good Guys. The Bad Guys don't have to play by the rules and when they get caught and expelled, they just come back with another screen name. Sometimes I wonder, what's the point? But then I remember how I get to live out my crimefighting fantasy, my Heroine Addiction. Then I smile. Current Mood: pensive
